Manali is situated in between snow capped slope of Pir-Panjal and Dhauladhar range and one of the most popular hill stations of India which is located in Himachal Pradesh. Manali is a beautiful picture perfect hill station which is nestled on the bank of River Beas and closed to snow of Himalayans. Manali is situated at a distance of 40 km from Kullu with at an elevation of 2050 mts above the sea level. Winter: September to till February is the best time for those who want enjoy with snow. The temperature is around -1 degree and December to January is the ideal time for enjoy with snow. Winter is perfect time for Adventure lover and honeymooners.
Monsoon: Manali received heavy rainfall during Monsoon. July to August is the monsoon time in Manali.


Visiting place in Manali:

Hadimba Temple: Hadimba temple is a beautiful temple far from hustle and bustle of the city. This temple is surrounding by the deodar trees and beautiful greenery. The construction architecture style is different from the other temple. This temple is dedicated to Hadimba devi which was the wife of Bhima (one of Pandawas).

Vashisth Baths: Vashisth Baths is a beautiful temple which rejuvenated you and a dip in the water spring makes you refresh. It is situated at a distance of 6 km from Manali and the natural water spring contains medicinal properties.

Mannu Temple: Mannu Temple is dedicated to the Great Sage of Mannu which is lies on the bank of Beas River. This temple is one of the major attractions of the Manali.

Nehru Kund: This kund get its name from the first Prime Minister of India. The water of the kund is natural.

Van Vihar: Van Vihar is surrounding by the deodar trees and van vihar is a heaven for natural lovers. Manli is a beautiful destination which is popularly known for its unparalleled beauty. The man Made Lake is one of the major attractions of the Place. You can enjoy the boating here.

Jogini Waterfall: This water fall is situated around 3 km from Manli. Tourists take a trek to reach Jogini waterfall.

Solang Valley: Solang valley is one of the most visited and popular tourist attractions in Himachal which is situated on the way to Rohtang Pass from Manali. Every year thousands of the tourists visit this valley and enjoy the adventurous activities like Paragliding, Horse Riding, Parachuting, driving to mini jeep etc. During the winters the valley is covered with snow and made a perfect place for skiing.

Rohtang Pass: Rohtang Pass is one of the major attractions of the place which is covered by only Road. The pass is situated at a distance of 51 km from the main town with at an elevation of 3978 mts above the sea level. To visit Rohtang Pass Permit is required by all travelers. This pass is open from June to October.

Chandratal Baralacha Trek: It is a perfect trek destination offered most amazing natural beauty. This trek has a beautiful lake which is served as the source of Chandra River, has a major tributary of River Chenab.

The great Himalayan National Park: This park is the home of more than 400 species of fauna and it the newest addition to the list of National Park in India.

Kullu: Kullu is a beautiful hill station and sister town of Manali. Kullu has amazing landscape and hub of Adventurous activities like trekking, river rafting, mountaineering etc and home of various temples and shrines. Raghunath Temple and Bijili Mahadev Temple are both of most religious shrines located in Kullu. Kullu is also used as a base camp town to reach Manikaran, Rohtang Pass, Malana and Bhunter.

Manali Sanctuary: Manli Sanctuary is the home of Bird Monal which is situated at the walking distance from the main town. You will see reptiles, birds, and other animals etc.

By Air: Bhunter Airport is the nearest Airport to reach Manali which is situated at a distance of 50 km from Manali and outside the Airport Taxies and Buses are easily available.
By Train: Jogiandernagar is the nearest Railway station which is situated at a distance of 55 km from Manali. Chandigarh and Ambala cantt Junction is the other nearest Railway station to reach Manali
By Road: Manali is well connected to the other destination like Delhi, Leh, Kullu, Dharamshala, Chandigarh, Ambala, Shimla etc. The private and Govt. Transport are available to reach Manali.
