Winter: Winter season is the best for those who want to see the beauty of Palampur in the brightest colors. The temperature is down as -10 to 10 degree Celsius. February to march is the period when the temperature rise up but the town is covered with white snow blanket.
Monsoon: Palampur does not receive a high amount of rain but the monsoon is not best time for Sightseeing. July to till October is the monsoon season here.

Neugal Khad: It is a perfect picnic place located at a distance of 2 km from the town. It is a beautiful location and one can enjoy the amazing nature beauty here.

Tashi Jong Monastery: Tashi Jong Monastery is a beautiful monastery, it not just a worship center of Buddhism. Apart from that it is the abode of various Tibetan Refugees. Inside the monastery a college and a Tibetan restaurant are situated. This temple is surrounding by the beautiful Gardens and the complex has a craft complex where Tibetan handicrafts are for sale.

Tea Garden: Palampur is famous for its Tea Gardens and it serve as the ‘Tea Capital of India’. Tea Gardens are the major attraction of the place. Baijnath Temple: Baijnath temple is one of the most beautiful temples which situated in Kangra Valley. This temple is dedicated to Lord Shiva and it is believed that Raavan was worshiped Lord Shiva here. Bir Billing: Bir Billing is a beautiful destination which is situated 35 km from Palampur. It is popularly known for its adventurous activities like Paragliding. Paragliding is one of the most popular tourist attractions and major activities which performed here. Bir is the starting point of Paragliding and Billing is the landing point. Bir – Billing is known as ‘The capital of Paragliding’ and Paradise for Adventurous lovers.

Dharamshala: It is one of the most preferred Hill station situated in Kangra valley in the state of Himachal Pradesh. By Train: The Nearest Railway station is Pathankot to reach Palampur. It is situated at distance of 92 km from Palampur. Buses and Taxies are available from Pathankot to Palampur.
