Paragpur village is situated in Kangra district in the state of Himachal Pradesh. This charming village is one of the heritage village located at an elevation of 1800 ft above the sea level. Summer: Summer is the best time to visit Paragpur you can enjoy the lot of sightseeing during summer. Summer begins from April to till June with the temperature of 32 to 20 degree Celsius.

Kaleshwar Mahadev Temple: Kaleshwar Mahadev Temple is situated at a distance of 16 km away from Paragpur. It is a most religious temple situated in the town of Kaleshwar. The ancient monuments, great stone work and ancient mythology makes the place famous. It is believed that Pandwas visited this place during the time of exile. This temple is around 400 years old constructed by the Pandawas. During Baisakhi a big fair is held here which is major attraction of tourists.

Kangra: This town was established by the Katoch Kshatriya Rajputs which is popularly known for its ancient temples and kangra fort is one of the major attractions of Kangra. This town is the home of ancient temples like Jawalamukhi Temple, Chamunda Devi Temple, Baba Baroh Shrine, Brijeshwari Devi Temple and Baijnath Temple.

Chintapurni Temple: This temple is situated at a distance of 20 km from the city. Chintapurni is one of the 51th Shakti Peeths situated in the Una district. It is believed that the temple has a great power to grant wishes of devotees.

Jwalamukhi Temple: Jawalamukhi Temple is one of the most religious temples situated at a distance of 21 km from the city. It is one of 51th shakti peeths. This temple is dedicated to Goddess Sati in the form of a burning flame. The blue burning flame is one of the major attractions of this temple. Thousands of the tourists from all around the country visit this religious temple to get the blessings of Goddess.

Taal: The Tall is a charming small water pond which is dated back before 1868. This pond is situated in the heart of Village. It is surrounding by the several heritage sites which provides an amazing views. It is perfect place for family and friends.

Butail Niwas: The Butail niwas is an old building presents the amazing Indian and Colonial style of architecture. This building was built by the Lala Buta Mal.

Nakki: Nakki is popularly known for its watershed constructed by the Rerumal Family. It is the getaway point to enter the city Pragpur.

Dada Siba Temple: Dada Siba Temple is situated at a distance of 22 km from Paragpur in the old village of Dada Siba. This village was built in 1450 AD. This temple is popular for Kangra mural and wall paintings.

Maharana Pratap Sagar Lake: Maharana Pratap Sagar Dam is a beautiful water source situated across the Beas River. This dam is situated at a height of 450 mts. This reservoir in this area is declared wildlife sanctuary in 1983. This is a popular site for fishing.

The Judge’s court: The Judge court is one of the major attractions of Paragpur and the construction was completed in 1918. It presents the unique combination of Indian and European architecture styles. The building is cover an area of 12 acres and was commissioned by Justice Sir Jai Lal. But now this building has been converted into a heritage hotel and every year it is visited by thousands of the tourists.
