Bhrigu Lake Trek is a beautiful trek begins from the base camp in Manali. This trek is also known as the ‘Pool of the God’s which is situated at a distance of 36 km from Manali with at an elevation of 4240 mts above the sea level. Bhrigu Lake trek is nestled in the upper kullu valley and lying east of Rohtang Pass. The trek is provides you an opportunity to explore the various landscapes of Kullu, Rohtang Pass and Solang Valley. Bhrigu Lake trek is one of the best manali trekking destinations. One the way the trek will provides you beautiful green meadows and amazing view of snow capped Himalayan peaks of Pir- Panjal range and Dhauladhar range. This trail is an easily accessible for beginners or expert hikers. Bhrigu Lake trek is a lovely trail where you will see almost possible varieties of mid altitude trail.
Apart from this you also enjoy the most beautiful views of Hanumma tibba, Makar Bay, Shakhar bay, Ladakhi, Shetidhar range etc which makes the trail more attractive and beautiful. During the trek you can see the beautiful grass land and beautiful high altitude alpine meadows. This trek is taken 4 days to complete this 45 km trekking and the trek will not challenge your strengths if the weather is in your favour. This beautiful trekking ends at the picturesque lake and you can enjoy the most beautiful views of snow which is looks like a white carpet. Bhrigu Lake is frozen half of the year and changed the colure and shape according the seasons. The ends point of the trek is Vashisht village and you can see carved wooden temple, hot spring, surrounding Jogini waterfall, Village Home stay variety of cuisines make this trek complete.
Tour Itinerary:
Day 01: Manali Base camp
Arrival at Manali Base Capm, today you will experience the beautiful town on your own. Today you will pack your bags and all required things. Overnight stay at campsite.
Day 02: Manali – Gulaba
After morning breakfast you will proceed towards Rohlikohli will take 3-4 hours to reach. Rohlikohli is a beautiful campsite which is provides you amazing views of Solang Valley. Overnight stay at Rohli Kohli camp site.
Day 03: Rohli Kohli – Bhrigu Lake
Today, After Breakfast you will depart towards Bhrigu Lake which takes around 3 hours to reach. Carry your packed lunch. According to the legend it is believed that Rishi Bhrigu was meditated here and used this lake for bathing. After completing Bhrigu visit and after lunch back to Rohli Kohli Campsite and rest of the day.
Day 04: Return to Gulaba and Departure
Today is the last day trek, return back to Gulaba. It is an easy trek that takes 3- 4 hours to reach. Reach Manali and departure from Manali Bus stand.
