Best time to visit Dharamshala:

Summer: Summer is the best time for sightseeing due to its pleasant weather throughout year. Summer season is fall in between April to June with the temperature of 20 to 35 degree.
Winter: October to March is the winter season here and it is the best time for enjoying the nature beauty and snowfall. December to till February you will enjoy with snow here.
Monsoon: The Monsoon is began July to continue till September. During the monsoon the temperature is 18 to 22 degree and the rain shut down the trekking routes.

Dharamshala Cricket Stadium: Dharamshala has a world highest Cricket Stadium which operate under the Himachal Pradesh cricket Association. It is located at an elevation of 1457 mts above the sea level, the amazing surrounding views and cool winds adds the charm of the place.

Masroor Rock Cut Temple: This beautiful temple is situated 32 km from Kangra and it is an archaeological site. This beautiful temple is a great combination of 15 rock cut temples which is designed in the Indo –Aryan Style.

Kangra fort: Kangra foprt is one of the oldest fort of India and largest fort of Himalayan which was built by the royal families in around 4th century. The wonderful architecture styles attract tourists which is situated about 20 km from Dharamshala.

By Air: The nearest Airport is Gaggal situated in Kangra valley around 15 km from Dharamshala. Taxies and Buses are easily available to reach Dharamshala outside the Airport.
By Train: Kangra Mandir Railway station is the nearest Railway Station which is situated at a distance of 22 km from Dharamshala. Pathankot Railway junction is the other Railhead situated 85 km from them.
By Road: Dharamshala is well connected to the major cities and states. The Private buses are easily available from Delhi which is 520 km away.
